Love Connections Global are delighted to announce a free matchmaking online cocktail evening in collaboration with Shona, founder of sofoodie, at 7pm on Thursday 21st May 2020, on application only.
Further to recent success with ‘Mission Free Matchmaking’ to help singles connect nationwide during this surreal time, Love Connections has seen a huge growth in community of singles looking for interesting and meaningful conversation and potential romantic connection across the UK and we want to keep connecting you.
The Connections team of matchmakers have been handpicking introductions offline and creating romantic connections online and are now heading into even more exciting spaces during this time - online Cocktail Hours & Connections come dine with me suppers. Each Connections evening is free of charge but we will encourage supporting charities to pay it forward.
Connections Founder Sarah Louise Ryan and Shona, two kindred spirits, crossed paths and have come together to bring this evening of fun, connection and interesting conversation and here’s what you can expect.
What to expect during the course of Connections Cocktail Evenings:
7pm - Arrival - Connected Cocktail Evening - welcome
7:10pm - Cocktail masterclass with Shona
7:20pm - Sarah Louise Ryan & Shona - Dating in lockdown
7:30pm - Guest Introductions
8pm - Clap for frontline workers followed by entertainment (tbc)
8:15 - 8:45 Connected Conversations (1 2 1 dates)
8:50 - 9 pm Ciao, for now.
What’s the process to register?
1 - Fill out an application for Connected Evenings noting your interested in Cocktail Hours & Come Dine With Me Evenings so we know more about you and the kind of person you would like to meet. You can do that here https://bit.ly/35wnILI
2 - Meet the matchmaker conversation - We will reach out to you in the forthcoming week or so once your application has been received if we think you're a good fit in location, age and romantic search criteria for those already selected to book in a 15 minute Skype conversation with a matchmaker and get to know you better. We will be in touch via email to set a mutually convenient time to make this chat happen.
3 - By invite only - We will then vet applicants based on their values, wants and interests to ensure we have a ‘matched group’ and send invitations for one of our evenings, if not this one, hopefully another in the near future due to limited spaces.
4 - Pay it forward - Further to your invites we ask you to pay it forward with a minimum donation to a charity before you join us. We would like to support this charity for this particular event is www.hospitalityaction.org.uk and ask for a minimum £5 donation to be shown to the team.

Shona is an East London based events specialist and food writer. She loves live events and the power they have to connect people and business. Passionate about all things food based, from reading cookbooks in bed to creating incredible meals in her #littlebricklanekitchen.
